So one of my favourite little snacks to make is Chocolate and Banana Protein Pancakes using my Mini:Shake Chocolate Silk! It's super tasty and so easy to make.
Please note, this receipt serves two people.
40g Mini:Shake Chocolate Silk (Buy here) (115cal) (Use 1 full Mini:Shake and then 3/4 of another Mini:Shake)
1/4 tsp baking powder (0)
1 ripe banana (70kal)
2 egg whites (34cal)
2 tbs of milk (almond/coconut/dairy) (13cal)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (2cal)
Nutella (optional) (108cal)
Raspberry's (optional) (16cal)
Strawberries (optional) (30cal)
Fat Free Greek Style Yogurt (Optional) (14cal)
Put all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth (for a lighter batter separately whisk the egg whites and fold these into your blended mixture). Use coconut oil to grease your frying pan or rub a little oil or butter on your pan using some kitchen towel. Add a ladle of batter (or two/three if your frying pan is big enough to cook more than one at the same time)
Wait until the top of the pancake begins to bubble, then turn it over and cook until both sides are golden brown and the pancake has risen to about 1cm (1/2in) thick.
Top it with Nutella, fat free greek yoghurt, strawberries and raspberries.
