    Great gym but a little too over crowded during daytime but overall, it’s a great gym for all sorts of workouts 💪👌.

    I was previously with AnytimeFitness which was way better in many ways. It was clean, wasn’t horrendously busy at peak times and the people respected the equipment.

    Since I joined here it has been a mixed experience. For starters weights were thrown around or drop the weights, when busy there’s a lot of BO smell and sometimes its so busy that getting on equipment feels like playing music chairs.

    BUT! This happens since the gym is easy and cheap to join, relatively to other memberships. So, during peak times it is packed. I don’t mind much it being busy. I’ve been to other gyms from TheGym and they are busy with the same numbers so this is “ok”. The BO smell is annoying at times, but it is busy gym around 5-7pm so 100+ people will produce BO smell plus, its A GYM not a perfume shop. Because of the energy crisis I’ve seen that some people are using the gym’s shower facilities as their home shower. However, this happened to my previous gym because of the energy crisis.

    I would grade two stars for the culture of the members who behave they are in a playground throwing weights around, not putting them back etc. However, the reason I put 4 stars is because I’ve recently seen the staff putting an effort which makes me really optimistic. They are giving warnings and blocking pins from unruly members.

    A message to the staff of the Luton branch if they see this keep up the work. 🙏

    I’ve been to other branches in London and the environment is way better because the people respect their gym rules. I hope things change. I know it is hard to boss people around, like a teacher in school class, but some people need to grow up or at least have their pin blocked. 😅😆

    A lot of equipment broken or wornout,never gets fixed.Even clock batteries took almost a year to replace.Stinks.Toilets all broken. Fire alarm went on 1.30 at night,left the gym just before 3.00am still going on.Pressed help button,lad wasn’t happy that I’ve told him about the fire alarm so he just put the phone down.What a place man…

    The team is very helpful and friendly. Sarah was a great help in showing me how the machine works and very patient while I tried them. The atmosphere was chilled and lots of space and equipment for everyone to use. Would recommend it. The changing room was clean and the gym was quiet clean as well. Overall a good gym to be at.

    I purchased a day pass to visit one Saturday late in the afternoon. Luton Town were playing at Wembley, so it was unusually quiet! The gym is very big and there was lots of everything. It was fairly clean but lots of the equipment, especially the machines, were quite old. I only used 4 machines in total, but 2 of them had rubber grommets missing, which meant they were quite noisy! The gym was unsupervised, so I can’t comment on the staff.

    I am at the gym and it’s closed because of flooding. There’s no info online telling people and having to drive here this early(5am) to find out is a joke. The website is still showing 10 people working out inside the gym even tho it’s closed. You can’t make this up

    As soon as you go inside the smell is horrible. Just some of the Air cons are working. Broken toilets. No soap either. Weights everywhere. Is like a jungle inside. And now is closed until further notice. Don’t waste your time at this gym

    Amazing gym with amazing trainers(Especially nick!)Any class he holds you won’t be disappointed. Never find it difficult to find equipment no matter what time of the day I go. There’s even a woman’s only section. highly recommend this gym to the locals.

    Very spacious gym on two floors, plus a secret women’s only space with a hidden entrance! Here is the breakdown:

    Environment: Generally it’s a good crowd, with a more athletic membership base, however there is also room for beginners and I have personally seen many elder ladies visiting to use the women’s only section so it is definitely inclusive. The environment is quite fresh, and it’s busy but people generally get along quite well here and the trainers are active across the gym floor making sure everyone is alright.

    1st Floor Layout:

    A. There is a small section for plate loaded machines, specifically for back and chest, i.e. T-Bar row, H-Row machine, Seated row, and incline/normal chest press machines. It is usually less busy.

    B. In front of this is a small functional area, with bars for calisthenics exercise, medicine balls, kettle bells up to 28kg, rubber plates with bars, and hex dumbells. There is also row machines, airbikes and ski URG machines, so you can see it has been designed with Crossfitters in mind. However they mostly like to stay in their own ‘special gyms’ so it generally does not get busy.

    C. There is a decent weightlifting section with around 4 racks with both men’s and women’s size barbells, and those colourful Eleiko plates that make everything fun. There is also a trap bar in this section, with some dimmer lighting which makes it interesting in the evening.

    D. i. There are around 4-5 cable/pulley stands all clustered around each other which is convenient, and another upstairs for good measure.

    ii. Behind this is the standard back exercise cable machines, including seated row, lat pulldown, and the wide cable stand.

    iii. Behind this is a barbell rack with weight up to 45-50 kg, including straight bar and EZ Curl.

    iv. Next to this are a plate loaded leg press, hack squat machine, and a vertical leg press.

    v. There are a few more squat racks along the back wall, smaller in size, and some more interesting leg exercise machines, including a plate loaded pendulum squat machine, a calf raise machine, and hamstring curl machine. Behind this is a captain’s chair (used for pullup/dips/leg raise), a hyper extension stand thingy, and a punching bag for boxing!

    This is the entire left half of the downstairs section which is connected to the right half described below:

    E. This is generally the main part of the gym where most people like to work out, and it connects from the top with the weightlifting/CrossFit section.

    It includes some more unique machines:

    i. Two Smith machines ii. Hip thrust machine iii. Preacher stand w. EZ curl iv. Preacher curl machine (plate loaded) v. Plate loaded tricep dip machine

    Several benches with barbell stands set up for flat bench press, along with separate stands for a) incline press b) decline press

    And then around 50 ft wide floor space for benches all lined up, and a massive dumbell set, going up to 50kg where most are doing shoulder press, lateral raise, or chest press.

    Top Floor Layout:

    Upstairs is generally in two halves: 1. Pin loaded machine section, 2. Cardio machines and 3. A studio and 4. Women’s changing room/private gym section.

    A. Pin machine section, contains: i. Leg machines (i.e. abductor/adductor, leg press, leg extension and leg curl + lying hamstring curl)

    ii. Upper body, i.e. Diverging seated row, lat pulldown, and pec fly/rear delt fly machine. There is also Diverging Chest Press and Shoulder Press/Lateral Raise machine and Bicep Curl/Tricep extension machine next to eachother.

    (Note: Assisted Pullup/Dip machine is there but is unfortunately positioned right outside the entrance to the women’s changing room)

    Core: Abdominal Crunch, Back extension and twisty ab machine thing.

    B. Cardio is there, pics below.

    C. Secret Women’s Only: don’t ask me I didn’t get to go in 😂

    The equipment at the gym is good and plentiful. However, it is oversubscribed and is generally too busy at peak times. The access turnstile reminds you of a prison and is temperamental. The majority (not all) of the staff are surly at best and generally quite contrary. This is from management down. The cleaning needs to be more frequent, particularly the changing rooms, the showers and the sauna. The reason for this is that many of the members lack basic gym etiquette. It’s not the job of the staff to teach the members basic manners but it is their job to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Hopefully, senior management will take steps to address the issues as it does have the makings of a good gym.

    An average gym with a few issue.

    Pros: Lots of equipment. The cardio area is normally always free and not too busy. There is also a ladies only gyms for those who prefer. Due to its retail park location there’s lots of parking.

    Cons: Despite the gym rules saying you should clean equipment, I have been here on many occasions where the tissue and spray has not been put out. Another problem I have is that the air con is never on early in the morning and the studio isn’t open. Considering there are other budget gyms in the area that have air con on at all times I have an issue with this. I am sure if these problems continue people will take their money elsewhere

    It’s brand new and located at Hatters Way Retail Park and there’s plenty of free parking (3 hours).

    Premium changing rooms and saunas are the first things you notice coming in.

    The weights area and the Eleiko brand weightlifting kit is based downstairs and there’s plenty of it – you won’t run out of exercise equipment here.

    The cardio area and exercise studio is located upstairs. Great for people who don’t want to work out in front of groups of people.

    What’s really surprising is that there’s a sizeable Ladies-only gym here that’s accessible from the ladies changing rooms.

    Definitely worth checking out!

    The gym is quite nice and big but the machines are always in bad condition, it would be better to clean the machine atleast once daily. Very disappointed with the hygiene
